The Social Security Administration has released the Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients for 2024. Starting January 1, 2024, the maximum Federal amounts for SSI recipients are $943/month for an eligible individual, $1,415/month for an eligible individual with an eligible spouse, and $472/month for an essential person. If this adjustment applies to you, please remember to submit an updated Beneficiary Resource Record (BRR) to Community Fund in January 2024 to prevent delays in Distribution Request approvals.
The Social Security Administration will be mailing eligible individuals COLA notices throughout the month of December.
